Middle Eastern Dancing Routines with Goldie

Yoga stretches Attitude - Hold your CORE
Shifti-tele –
Relax - chest extension forward, lift, lean back, contract, and extend circling back Roll tummy - hips circle and follow flow of the movement.
Step rocking forward / back forward.
Ready Stance Position- Right foot faced out left foot on ball of foot in forth position knee forward stand tall and proud, or preferance with right foot forward
Head Slides - Hands above head, back of hands touching gently bent elbows. slide head side to side with ear touching the inside of your elbow. Look up, look down look forward at someone and slide - slide - slide
Open arms and undulate leading with your elbows – paint your aura
Shoulder Shimmy – forward step back step
shimmy hips- shimmy shoulders – contract down on Forward step (shoulder) shimmy back step
Belly Rolls –Relax - Place one hand on your third chakra (solar plexus) one hand on your second chakra lower abdomen. Push in with your lower, in with your upper, out with your lower, out with your upper. Roll forward - roll back Flutter – Rapid Breath in and out
Hip Toss – 8 counts toss up
Hip Drop – 8 counts drop
Alternate hip toss 8 forward 8 back
2 Hip toss Hip Drop repeat
Hip toss in a circle – pivot turn
Hip Rolls – Ready stance position – Arms up - Roll forward, side, back and forward 4 on each hip
Rib Cage circles horizontal – vertical
Hips figure 8 horizontal –
Hips figure 8 vertical goes down come back up
Circle Hinge – gather from mother earth and offer
3 Circle Hinges traveling to side – twist and pose repeat to opposite side
Bolero Routine 4/4 with Veils (Marlyza)
Cross right over left step in place left step right Cross left over right step in place step right step left Bolero to each corner facing south then turn to east, Bolero routine, face north Bolero to corners, then west, Bolero routine, then back to front Veil crosses over right then opens – then left over right and opens with step/ step Hip rolls four on each hip – hands over head with Veil Listen to music and always end STRONG
Floor Work - Snake say "sssss"and undulate with hands to someone Lying on your side bend bottom leg, top leg is straight, swings forward and back with hips doing a figure 8, shimmy leg and completely contract body and extend. Up on knees circle-hinge, figure 8's, shimmy then repeat to the other side.
